Q:Can I pick up my order?
A: Although we do not have a retail storefront, you may select the pick-up option. Pick-up is available Monday- Friday between 1-4 pm. Your order must be in before 9:30 am for same day pick-up.
Q: When do you ship out orders?
A: If orders are received before 9:30am EDT they will be shipped out the same day. If orders are placed after 9:30am EDT then they will be shipped the next day.
All orders for Florida and states in blue (please refer to chart under Shipping Tab) are shipped via UPS next day service guaranteed with no signature required which means that the UPS driver will leave the package outside if no one is present at the time of drop-off. We HIGHLY recommend that someone is present within the designated timeframe to accept the product and properly refrigerate. This will be made easier by using UPS quantum view with the tracking number that we will provide to you via e-mail when the order is placed.
We also recommend signing up with UPS MY choice which will make this process even easier.

Fed Ex Home Delivery (2 business days) will be used to ship to the states in orange (please refer to chart under Shipping Tab). You may also choose Next Day Air to these states for $95.00 shipping charge instead of $39.00. If you wish to have your package to the states in orange delivered next day, please contact us. We ensure freshness of fish with 2 day delivery because our products are carefully packed in a Styrofoam container and are wrapped with gel packs and dry ice in bubble foil to maintain the products cold/frozen.

Q: Is Shipping included?
A: Shipping is not included, but if the destination is within the state of Florida, it can be shipped by GROUND and shipping is minimal.
Q: I am in Miami, not far from your warehouse. Is there any way to pick up locally so I don’t have to pay shipping costs?

Orders must be picked up on your selected pick-up day. Fresh fish is cut to order and cannot be restocked.
Q: What happens if the fish is delivered when I am not home?
A: If you are not home at the designated time when UPS or Fed Ex delivers your package, the driver will leave it at your front door. Seafood is highly perishable. Even though we take steps to keep the fish cold inside the package, it is highly susceptible to deterioration when left under the sun for a long time. This is why we stress that you make sure that you are home when the delivery gets dropped off.
Q: What are your hours?
A: Clark Fish is open Monday through Friday, 8am to 4 pm, and is not open on the weekends.
Q: Do you sell to Wholesale accounts?
A: Yes, Clark Fish does cater to wholesale accounts. If you like to establish a wholesale account with us please contact our office and a sales representative will be happy to get you started.

Q: WHAT DOES HACCP APPROVED REALLY MEAN?
A: Here is an excerpt from our blog. Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP). Clark Fish LLC is HACCP certified. So what is it? To break it down simply, HACCP certification is a way of preventing any food hazards by teaching us, the distributors, how to make sure that your fish is safe to eat. It also includes what bacteria, parasites, and infections form when fish is handled improperly. That is gross. After knowing all that can happen, it’s nice to know that Clark Fish LLC is certified. We are certified by FDA that our operation and our facility is clean.
Q: Are you a qualified fish distributor?
A: Clark Fish LLC is a HACCP approved facility. Many controls are implemented at our facility to insure that you will receive 100% guaranteed product.
Q: Do you guarantee your products for quality?
A: Yes, we here at Clark Fish guarantee 100% that the products you receive will be one that is kept to the highest standards of freshness and quality.
Q: How long can a fresh fish be kept before consuming?
A: Fresh fish should be consumed within 2-3 days after delivery.
Q: Where are you shipping the fish from?
A: We ship our products out from our Miami Florida processing facility.
Q: Do you have fish all year round?
A: Yes, We do our best to keep fish in stock year round. Many species of fish that we offer do have fishing seasons that are regulated by Florida Fish and Wildlife conservation commission which will make it impossible to keep some fish in stock when the specific species is out of season. Fishing seasons are created to control fish harvest and insure that targeted species our not overfished and pushed to extinction.
Q: Do you carry any prepared fish?
A: No, as of this time we do not carry any prepared (value added) seafood.
Q: Can I order over the phone?
A: We would prefer for you to use our shopping cart system on our website, but we will be more than happy to answer your call and help you with anything that you need.
Q: Do you carry sushi grade fish?
A: Yes, one of our biggest businesses is selling to sushi bars. The same procedures and products that we offer to our very picking clientele will also be available to our retail customers.
Q: Is it safe to eat your fish raw?
A: Yes, you can eat our fish raw if you chose to. There is no better way but to eat some of our fish raw like our mouthwatering Yellow Fin tuna.
Q: Is your fish organic?
A: All of our fish is caught in the wild, unless labeled otherwise. There is some debate on whether wild caught fish is organic since fish live in the open ocean and not in a controlled environment where you can monitor their diet. For this reason we cannot label our fish Organic, but what we can promise you that our wild caught fish are free of any pesticides and preservatives. It is as natural as they come.

A: Fish and shellfish are an important part of a healthy diet. Q: Worried about Mercury?
A: Nearly all fish and shellfish contain traces of mercury. For most people, the risk from mercury by eating fish and shellfish is not a health concern. Yet, some fish and shellfish contain higher levels of mercury that may harm an unborn baby or young child’s developing nervous system. The risks from mercury in fish and shellfish depend on the amount of fish and shellfish eaten and the levels of mercury in the fish and shellfish. Therefore, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) are advising women who may become pregnant, pregnant women, nursing mothers, and young children to avoid some types of fish and eat fish and shellfish that are lower in mercury.
